For my Life Drawing class, we had to create a portrait of ourselves or someone we know. We had to light our subject appropriately, and then draw and shade the piece with as many values as we could. I chose to draw my younger sister, Elizabeth. In other news, my official .com website has been up for over a month! It's still under construction, though.

Here is a small assortment of some of my life drawing work from this past semester. They range from 15-second poses to 1-minute poses. The sequence drawings took about 10 minutes, and the final portrait drawing is a 1-hour study.

Here's an assortment of life drawing images I have drawn over the course of my first semester at Humber. Life drawings are essentially timed drawings of nude models, usually drawn in charcoal or conté on 18"x24" newsprint. The times for the following drawings range from 30 seconds to 30 minutes.
