[Art] Drawing and Design Animation Assignments (Humber College)

Categories:

The following two traditional drawings were completed for my Drawing and Design Animation class, using a set of B/H pencils, a kneedable eraser, and a rather large sketchbook. For the first assignment we had to draw a part of the school, so I chose the university building (Guelph @ Humber) since it's the prettiest (in my opinion). For the second assignment we had to create a "futuristic cityscape" utilizing the same pencils, eraser(s), and sketchbook as before. Both were interesting assignments that allowed me to expand my value range (usually I only draw in three shades, but both of these assignments required six different shades or more)!

For our final assignment of the semester we were asked to illustrate twenty-four (24) frames out of a ninety-two (92) "shot list" that described (in writing) what was to happen in each frame.

They really mix up the kinds of drawing assignments, that must be a constant challenge!
