[Art] 3D Graphic Production Assignments (Humber College)

Categories:

The following assignment was given to us in our 3D Graphic Production class. We were asked to complete four "speed" paintings in Adobe Photoshop, and were free to choose any subject matter. Being the Christmas-enthusiast I am, I naturally chose to illustrate one of my Aunt Nancy's Christmas ornaments on a Christmas tree. :) Each painting individually took approximately thirty minutes, totaling somewhere around two hours overall.

For this assignment, the objective was to digitally paint an image that was given to us by our instructor. The goal was to paint it in a "painterly" fashion, and to make it appear as though it was completed traditionally. I'm actually really proud of the way mine turned out, and surprisingly enough, the teacher liked it as well. It was a really fun assignment, and it made me realize that I miss painting traditionally!

Our final assignment for our first semester was to morph our face with an animal (or, series of animals) of our choosing. I chose a panda bear. There isn't really a particular reason why I chose a panda bear, but I wanted to go with something uncommon. So, here I am as a half-human half-animal mix. Strange, eh?
